CARIBE is an international band focusing on the genres of Latin America and Cuba, particularly SALSA. In the music heart of the group stand brothers Ivar and Felix Aquirre from Bolivia, excellent singers whose temperament and sense of show charm the crowds. The band performs both at home and abroad.

In 2003, Caribe became the Salsaband of the year at the PRAGUE LATIN AWARDS. Among other concerts, the band regularly performs at the Febiofest, the afterparty of the Czech Lion Awards and gives concerts in the Lucerna music bar and Retro clubs in Prague, Latin Festival in Dresden etc.

The latest developments of the band are directed towards the repertoire of modern Cuban salsa orchestras. This has effect both on the selection of compositions and arrangements for the trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, congo, timbales and vocals.
